How to Get Lost on YouTube
It’s easy. Really. Start with watching one clip and you’ll blow hours watching other related clips! Here’s what happened to me just recently.
A friend of mine sent me a link to a Muppets Show performance of Paul Williams singing “Old Fashioned Love Song,” with some of the Muppets (two of which look like him to achieve that three part harmony. Khee!). Well, I went along from there and watched another Muppets performance with Rita Mareno singing “Fever” and Animal on the drums…

Then it snowballed from there and I watched this really kewl clip of the legendary drummer Buddy Rich battling it out with Animal! (Of course this is in Italian, I think. ROFL)

Then I find more Buddy Rich, here on the Tonight Show with Ed Shaugnessy…

Comical drumming with Jerry Lewis…

And then…man you can’t get any better than this. Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich!

And then all this drumming reminded me of one of my favorite Glenn Miller clips from the movie “Orchestra Wives.”

With a rat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat on the drums! Hey! Turn the beat around….
